What Was Always There
Perhaps some things exist within us long before we know how to name them. Looking back, I realize that painting was already present in the way I saw the world—in my attention to details, my fascination with light and shadows, and the quiet beauty of things others might simply pass by.
A few years ago, at seventeen, with no formal training and without ever planning to become a painter, I made my first painting. I was surprised by what came from my hands, as if they knew a language I had never learned.
Where It All Began
That moment opened a door to something that had always been there, quietly waiting to be found. From then on, I began to follow that sign and see where it would take me.
Since that first painting, I have continued to paint. Each work becomes another step in a journey that is still unfolding—a deeper search for unexplored.
And perhaps, all these years, I have simply been moving closer to that quiet light that first began to awaken within me.
